English Walnut (Juglans regia)
The name ‘Juglans regia’ means the ‘Royal Nut of Jupiter’ and it’s also known as the Persian walnut, common walnut, English walnut, Carpathian walnut and Madeira nut.
A regal kind of tree that produces edible and nutritious nuts. The leaves can also be dried and used as a tea. A great specimen for forest gardening and permaculture!
