Description
Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) cell grown in Scotland. A native deciduous tree offering an abundance of beautiful white blossom around March – May and red berries in the summer. These can be grown as a stand alone tree or as hedging.
It prefers moist or wet soil and can tolerate drought. The plant can tolerate maritime exposure too.

The haws are rich in antioxidants and are eaten by migrating birds, such as redwings, fieldfares and thrushes.

Supplied trees are cell grown and around 1.5-2ft tall. Branches may be trimmed and trees supplied without plant pot for safe shipping and to reduce waste.
