Description

Snowberry Shrub (Symphoricarpos albus), cell grown in Scotland, currently around 1.5ft tall.

A hardy and robust, deciduous shrub growing to 3m. Its pink flowers are much visited by bees and the white fruit is very attractive to wildlife. Makes for ideal screening and hedging.

Supplied trees are around 1.5ft tall. Branches may be trimmed and supplied without a pot for safe shipping and to reduce plastic waste.

Please bear in mind the plant is posted out via Royal Mail and may not look its’ best when initially unpacked. To help it along, place the roots in water for at least 30 mins as soon as it has been unpacked before planting out / potting on.

Cell grown:
Plants, trees and shrubs that have been cell grown can be planted anytime time of the year. Growing plants in cells encourages healthy root growth and because they are often grown in cell trays close together, the plants do not always have chance to bush out. However once transplanted the plant/ tree / shrub will bush out as it grows.
