The English Oak Tree (Quercus robur) 1-1.5ft tall cell grown.
These majestic and ancient UK native trees grow to 30m tall and wide and provide a valuable source of food and shelter to an array of wildlife.
Squirrels, badgers and deer feed on the nuts and the leaf mould in autumn provide food for the stag beetle, and fungi, like the oakbug milkcap. They do not like their roots being disturbed so trees should be planted in their permanent positions whilst young.
