Description
‘Salix caprea’ otherwise known as Pussy Willow or Goat Willow.
The male catkins of the goat willow look like a cat’s paws. It supports lots of wildlife, including the elusive and regal purple emperor butterfly. The stems are often used in floristy and add an nice contrast against the flowers.
It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It prefers dry moist or wet soil and can tolerate maritime exposure and atmospheric pollution.

Delivery
